Kuala Lumpur

Upon arrival Kuala
Lumpur, you will be transferred to our carefully
selected hotel. This vibrant capital city forms a modern backdrop of
lustrous skyscrapers. In the afternoon, you will be fascinated by the
garden city image of Kuala
Lumpur during the city tour. We will spend the
afternoon driving pass Chinatown and House of Parliament, with stops at
National Monument, King's Palace, National Mosque, Independent Square and Sultan Abdul Samad
Building. In the
evening, dinner will be at Sri Melayu Restaurant, famous for its
authentic local buffet with colourful cultural performance on stage.
After dinner, the evening is left free for relaxation after the long
international flight.

Day 02
|
Malacca

|
|
We will spend the day exploring the neighbouring historical city
of Malacca.
We will visit St Peter's Church (1710) the oldest Christian Church still
in use in Malaysia,
"Red Square" - the salmon pink
Dutch administration buildings and Portugese settlement. We will enjoy a
sumptuous "Nyonya & Baba" food for lunch (on own account).
After lunch, we will visit the harmony street, where the oldest
Chinese temple, Cheng
Hon Teng
Temple is located.
A Muslim mosque and Indian temple can also be found on the same street.
Take a stroll along Malacca's antique street which ends by the Banks of
the Malacca
River before
departure.

Day 03
|
Cameron Highlands

After breakfast, we will travel by road to Cameron Highlands
via the North South Express
Highway. A visit to the Lata Iskandar
waterfall, then the Orang Asli (Indigenous people) village and vegetables
farm to experience the amazing tropical vegetation of the highlands
completes the day.

Day 04

This morning, we will visit Gunung Brinchang and the Mossy Forest. Cruise along the
picturesque tea gardens to Gunung Brinchang. A commentary and an aerial
view / photography stop will be made before we bring you for a short trek
into the Mossy
Forest in search of
Pitcher Plants and other flora. At the peak, the viewing tower gives a
spectacular view of the surroundings. The return journey will bring us
downhill to the Sungai Palas tea factory for a factory tour. After lunch,
we will visit the famous cactus valley and rose garden. Enjoy the rest of
the day at leisure.

Day 05
|
Penang

|
After an early breakfast, we begin our journey to Penang Island. Our first stop will be Sam
Poh Tong, a famous cave with an impressive work of art and faith, with
various statues of Buddha among natural stalactites and stalagmites. We
will make a lunch stop at Ipoh
town. After lunch, we will drive pass the Ipoh Railway Station, an
impressive landmark which combines Moorish architecture with modern
embellishments. Next, we will visit the Ubudiah Mosque and Royal Museum in Kuala Kangsar. Before
entering the Island of Penang, we will drive through one of the
longest bridge in Asia (13.5 km).
Penang, with its long history of accepting
people from different cultures is at the crossroads of major
civilizations. Communities of Arabs, Burmese, Chinese, Eurasians, Malays,
Indians, Indonesians and Thais have all come through this island's
historic port to make their homes here. Also known as "The Pearl of
the Orient", Penang is famous for
its history, people, heritage and food. Check in the hotel and the rest
of the evening is free for leisure.

Day 06

Explore the "Pearl of the
Orient" from its sandy shore to the quaint countryside and nostalgic
Georgetown.
Our tour in Penang will include the famous Kek Lok Si Temple, Fort Cornwallis which was built on the
site of Francis Light's historic landing in 1786 and the famous Penang
Batik Factory. Lunch (on own account) will be at a Nyonya restaurant
serving famous Penang local cuisines - a
mixture of Chinese and Malay flavour. Our heritage tour will start after
lunch, places of interest includes Little India, China Town and the
Majestic Khoo Kongsi (Dragon Mountain Hall) clan house with its
ancient-design constructed to capture the splendour of an Imperial
Palace. It feature a magnificent hall embellished with intricate carvings
and richly ornamented beams of the finest wood bearing the mark of master
craftsmen from China. The rest of the evening is free at your leisure

07

Langkawi (B)

After driving from the resort to the jetty, we will go to Langkawi Island by ferry in the morning.
This legendary isle with its crystal clear water and the white powdering
sand infringed by swaying palms is indeed the most ideal retreat for
sunbathing and swimming. Upon arrival, we start our sightseeing at the
many places of interest such as wet market, Keris Monument,
Atma Alam Batik and Rubber Plantation.
At Langkawi Crystal, witness the process of blowing crystal into
unique and exclusive designs that are distinctly Malaysian. Driving
through unimaginable serene roads, proceed to trek the lush tropical
forest to enjoy a swim in the natural splendour of the cascading
waterfalls. After the waterfall, we proceed to Kuah - which was once a
fishing village and now a bustling town centre. Here, we stop briefly to
view the gigantic 'Lang' at the Eagle's Square. We will then check in at
our selected resort. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You may like
to visit the shopping centre and Oriental Village.
